The role in a gist:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building, optimizing, and scaling our Node.js platform and applications on the backend. You will collaborate with other engineers and teams to implement new features, improvements, and fixes needed to handle our current and future scale.      

What will you work on:   

• Collaborate with other engineers and teams to implement new features, improvements and fixes needed to handle our current and future scale
• Integrate RESTful API’s, internal web services ensuring high performance
• Write high quality, reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Build, optimize and scale our Node.js platform and applications
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, secure and performant applications
• Resolve technical issues and roadblocks faced by less experienced team members
• Should have some experience in agile process and conducting daily scrum  
• Collaborating across teams and contributing to open source
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes for them
• You will work closely with Product Owners and other Internal teams to define and shape the tasks we work on

The ideal candidate:

• Expert in Node.js and frameworks available for it i.e. Express, Hapi, Loopback, etc
• Experience creating public facing APIs
• Experience running Node.js services at scale
• Understands the nature of asynchronous programming and processing
• Should have good architecture knowledge of the systems worked
• Experience integrating 3rd party services
• Ships well engineered and well-tested code
• Builds reliable, robust and observable applications
• Experience building applications using Amazon Web Services
• Good Knowledge on User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Experience in building web applications using JS frameworks would be an add on(Angular/React)
• Working experience in agile processes. Extensive collaborations with different teams, departments and roles.
• Always to learn quickly and make good design decisions.

Qualification and Experience:

• Min 4 years of Experience in Backend Development
• BS/BE/BTECH degree in Computer Science or Engineering
